Imperative Sentences
Imperative sentences are used to give commands, make requests, offer suggestions, or provide instructions. They are one of the four main sentence types in English (along with declarative, interrogative, and exclamatory sentences). Key Features of Imperative Sentences No Subject: Imperative sentences typically don't have an explicit subject. The subject ("you") is implied. Base Verb Form: They start with the base form of the verb (the infinitive without "to").
