Present Perfect Tense

The present perfect tense is used to talk about actions that started in the past and continue up to the present, or actions that were completed in the past but have a result in the present. Structure:  * Positive: have/has + past participle  * Negative: have/has + not + past participle  * Interrogative: Have/Has + subject + past participle? Examples:  * I have lived in this city for 12 years. (Started in the past, continues up to the present)  * Joe has already eaten breakfast. (Completed in the past, result in the present)  * Have you read this book before?
